Our adaptive slicing can already be used with those processes that have
an OPEN slice format. This is the case of the STEREOS process from EOS GmbH.

SLA users, though, cannot use the technology from us because 3D Systems has
not disclosed their slice format.

We *could* reverse engineer their format. Many do this, and it is not difficult.
However, this is not the way we want to treat our customers.

Also note that our implementation of adaptive slicing for triangulated models
has been ready for almost two years. The implementation for surface models
is a few months away only...
