L.A. Times article

     Thanks for the reference, Marshall. 
     Our librarian was able to pull up the LA Times article Online. The article is
a little more balanced than the others I have seen, in that it mentions the
Soligen machine. It is interesting that Helisys is not mentioned, even though
it, too, is a Southland company. Not explained is why DTM would file a lawsuit
against Soligen. 
     Two slight errors include one reference to the alumina powder in the Soligen
process hardening into a mold, although the need to fire the green shape is
correctly included in a diagram, and reference to a $500 000 3D Systems
desktop manufacturing machine that isn't a true desktop machine. 
     Overall, it's an improvement, but I think something much better is possible.
