Hello everybody,
In my opinion the names Solid Freeform Manufacturing or Solid
Freeform Fabrication could be good solutions to the name problem, but they
don't descripe the aspect of adding material to build a part, which
I think is the main difference to other (subtractive) production techniques.
Refered to that I would vote for the names Additive Freeform
Manufacturing (AFM) or Additive Freeform Fabrication (AFF).
Maybe the name Additive Solid Freeform Manufacturing/ Fabrication is
a little bit more precise, but I think it's to long.
