Dear Dave,
     Sorry, I didn't mean it that way.  I was saying that the term 
"fabricator" by itself might not always be understood to mean a machine, 
just as a "computer" in the 1950s might have been taken to refer to a 
person, because that is what key-punch operators used to be called. I 
look forward to the day when everyone knows what a fabricator 
is, and there will be no reason to use the prefix, "automated."
