Here in Italy they are already, and that's one of the difficulties in 
selling RP service. The purchasing managers I deal with don't care 
about fancy new technology - they just want their prototypes 
cheaply and quickly. We can usually win on rapidity (that word again!)
but we are almost always at a cost disadvantage compared with 
traditional methods. Despite this people are going for it more this year, 
though it's still perceived more as a curiosity than a practical solution 
for today's problems.

They are already, at least over here, and they're really good too. 
They also get paid a fortune not to work elsewhere, and are all old guys 
with years of experience. The young kids aren't following their fathers 
into the profession, though.
