Subject: plating of parts
Dr Adrian Schulthess of Ciba Geigy did a paper on Electroless plating of SL-parts.
He used a commercial bath from Atotech and used Nickel and copper. He
mentioned using vacuum evaporations, cathode sputtering, chemical vapor
deposition, and matal spraying.
His conclusions were.... process is easy to use, improves the charteristics
and properties of SL parts, abrasion and heat conductivity is improved.
Electroless plating materials include Nickel, Copper, Gold while
electro-plating metal includeChromium, Nickel, Copper, Silver and Gold.

He refers to William Goldie vol. 1 & 2 Book on Metallic coatings of plastics,
Electrochemical Publications Limited, Great Britian.
