Subject: Chrome Plating
We did not do a form of electro-plating with Cu & Ni. The parts were
painted first with Al paint to give conduction. They do not like the
parts in the Plating Lab because the temperatures they work at the
material softens a bit, but they have worked. For a quick, easy and
cheap method, modelers have metal paints ie. gold, silver, and chrome.
Not as durable as plating but looks good initially if the surface is
smooth.
