SUMMARY: Gold International Machinery Corporation will market
Sanders Prototype, Inc., Model-Maker System to jewelry industry
worldwide.

Wilton, NH. (April 10) - Sanders Prototype, Inc., has signed an
agreement with Gold International Machinery , Inc., who will market
the Sanders Model-Maker system to the jewelry industry worldwide.
Model-Maker is a desktop PC-based system that enables intricate
jewelry models of any shape to be fabricated directly from computer
aided design programs.
Gold Machinery is a leading supplier of equipment and services
to U. S. and foreign jewelry manufacturers. The Pawtucket, RI based
company established in 1961, will market and service the Model-
Maker to jewelry manufacturers through its dealer relationships in
the U. S., Europe, Pacific Rim and Central America.
Sanders Prototype president Albin Hastbacka said the
agreement represents a multi-million dollar opportunity over the
next several years. Model-Maker, which sells for $54,900, enables
designers to produce intricate three dimensional models of rings,
pendants, brooches, and other jewelry pieces directly from CAD
programs. Because the computer produced models are accurate to
within one-thousandth of an inch, they can be used to directly cast
the finished jewelry pieces. The system features non-toxic materials
that don't crack or break the ceramic shells used in the investment
casting process.
Sanders Prototype, Inc. is headquartered in Wilton, NH,
and has offices/representatives located strategically throughout the
United States. The company designs, develops and manufactures desktop model
making systems for a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive
parts manufacturers, tool and die casters, sports equipment makers and
medical applications.
