Hello Jeslyn, I have been conducting tensile strength tests for the past 2
years. During testing I have built the ASTM Tensile Bars in various
directions, various build styles and various resins. The resultant has been
that each bar acts differently under stress and that the Poisson's Ratio is
never constant / consistant. If you would like more info on this test and a
comparission test of Photo Elastic, Thermo Elastic, and standard strain guage
