There is no limit to the number of _parts_ that can be built. However,
there are limitations to the number of _files_ (including supports) that
the machine can handle. The 3D manual says that if you use more than 11,
you won't be able to modify ranges and such on the DOS version of prepare
(i.e., if you want to add a range or whatever on the machine computer
itself). However, we have found that using more than 13, even in partman,
will produce a situation where the machine just stops with the laser
sitting in the vat once it tries to build the parts. The workaround is to
combine, say, all of your supports into one file, and some or all of your
parts into other files. For safety sake, keeping the number of total files
under 11. This is supposedly a DOS limitation that will go away once 3D
installs Pentiums on their machines, running Windows NT.
