DuPont Somos 6110 Photopolymer
High-Accuracy, High-speed, Epoxy for HeCd Stereolithography Systems

Description: Somos 6110 Photopolymer is a low-shrinkage, low-curl,
high-speed, low-odor, epoxy-based liquid which produces rigid, high
accuracy parts.

Application: Somos 6110 Photopolymer is used in the solid imaging
process to build three-dimensional parts. The photopolymer is intended
to be used with layer thickness of approximately 0.152 mm (0.006 inch).
After part formation via UV light exposure, including UV HeCd laser, the
excess resin is removed by rinsing with a solvent such as tripropylene
glycol monomethyl ether (TPM), followed by a rinse in isopropyl alcohol
(IPA). The part is post-cured by UV fluorescent light and, optionally,
by heat.
