If you're making a 16" x 16" cylinder then you should be using a laminated
object manufacturer to start with, or maybe an old log from your wood pile. Just
kidding. :) If you built a cylinder with regular SLA and gave it a minimum
wall thickness and a few internal ribs for support, then whose to say it would
use more resin than quick cast? That's the problem with trying to estimate the
time and cost of SLA parts - usually you're dealing with a diffent (new) part
every time. It's the nature of the prototype machine. It's a difficult question
indeed. Sorry I can't give away any of our trade secrets.
