It's nit-picking, I know, but I keep getting messages which ask to
"unscribe" from the mailing list. Apart from the fact that there is a
separate address for doing this, what's happening to the English language?
For what it's worth, scribes went out centuries ago, replaced by
Gutenberg's high-tech inventions. The right word to get off rp-ml is
"unsubscribe".
