Call for Papers

European Conference

Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing
Nottingham, England
1st - 3rd July 1997
This is the main European conference on this subject concentrating on
research and advanced industrial applications. It attracts academic
and industrial delegates from Europe, USA, Australia, Asia and the
Middle Eastern countries.
Papers may be submitted on the various aspects of Rapid Prototyping &
Manufacturing such as: CAD Modelling, data transfer, Rapid
Prototyping processes, applications (such as vacuum casting, spray
metal tooling, casting), Rapid Tooling, applications in different
industries (such as automotive, aerospace, plastic moulding,
medical etc.), materials for Rapid Prototyping, accuracy issues,
management and quality issues. (Note: Preference will be given to
research papers or good application papers)
Authors wishing to submit an abstract should send it, written in
English, to reach us by 2nd December 1996.

Papers must conform to the 1997 guide for authors which is available
on request. All papers will be assessed by at least two reviewers
and notification of acceptance or rejection will be given by 7th
April 1997.
Papers will not be accepted by companies selling machines, materials
or software. However, joint papers with an independent organisation
such as a user, university or research establishment may be accepted
if the independent organisation makes the presentation.
