....meaning, a lot of unneccessary, personal messages would circulate on an
otherwise public forum. I agree that this is tiresome, but I'm willing to
press the delete button as a trade-off for getting a copy of all the
responses to messages posted to the list. It's very frustrating to see an
interesting posting which has no resonance because the correspondence is
continued privately. I don't think this is what the list is about.
