Job Title: Account Executive

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the sales of rapid prototyping systems and materials in a
specific territory. Will develop new accounts and provide sales support to
on-going accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Account Executive will gather and track and fully utilize competitive
market information to develop new accounts and operate successfully in a
given territory. Will anticipate trends in the market and communicate this
information to the Regional Sales Manager. The Account Executive will be
able to monitor results and react to the changing market. Interfaces with
Customer Service to provide technical support to clients relating to use,
operation, and maintenance of equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires direct experience with system sales to companies in
the sales territory such as automotive, aerospace, consumer products
electronics and heavy equipment. Additionally, the Account Executive will
understand manufacturer’s process such as CAD CAM, three dimensional
modeling, casting, rubber molding and sand casting.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS degree essential, five years technical system sales preferred. Successful
experience in all aspects of selling and the ability to put together detailed
sales forecasting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires extensive travel. The Account Executive must be able
to travel by automobile and/or airplane to various destinations within a
given period of time. Position requires the physical ability to meet the
travel demands of the position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
As a rule, Account Executive's home serves as the base of operation
