                PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT

Materialise introduces RPWW, Rapid Prototyping Web Watch
AutoFact, Detroit Nov 12 -Nov 14:
                         booth 851

An integrated system to monitor all your RP-equipment

- Monitoring from anywhere in the office or at home

· Watch your part building
· Follow the control computer screens
· Stay updated on the build planning
· Be informed by pager or telephone call when the part is finished

A PC and a web browser are sufficient to obtain the information you need.

- RPWW highlights
· Better capacity usage of the RP equipment.
· Prevent unnecessary plant visits during night and week-end.
· Bad builds can be detected and corrected earlier.
· Flexible planning and communication: The WWW-planning tool enables to
check and update the RP machine planning from anywhere on the network.

- RPWW is safe
It operates completely independent from the hard- and software of your Rapid
Prototyping machines.
Even if there is a power-failure on your RP-machine, RPWW will continue
to run.

- Build planning
RPWW has a planning blackboard built in. This planning board is
accessible by your WWW-browser. Not only for control purposes, but also for
updates. It enables efficient communication between staff members and
operators.
Messages can be exchanged without the need for disturbing telephone calls
or visits to the job-shop. An operator can even update from home.

- Watch your part building
A camera, installed in the process chamber, enables to track the part
building process. Images are captured at user defined intervals.
After part building, the part can be inspected on the platform.

- Monitor control computer information
The information sent to the control monitor of the RP-machine is captured
and delivered by the WWW-browser. This provides you with all the
information that you normally would see when you are at the machine.

 - Alarm function
RPWW will dial a pager or telephone number to inform that part
building has been finished. One telephone line is sufficient to support
a large number of RP-machines.
