Paramount Industries is a full service rapid product development
company. Our company celebrated its 30th anniversary last week. We
are a privately held PA Corporation.
Our client markets are medical, consumer electronics,
telecommunications and toys. Combined these offer exciting product
design diversification. The day to day challenge requires our team of
specialist to project manage, conceptualize, design, model, tool and
manufacture. We live design-for-manufacturing!
Our culture is grounded in rapid response to client development
realized by through team solutions. While there is no normal we find
our projects turnover in as little as two weeks to as much as four
months.
Our in-house core competencies and skill sets cover every aspect of
product development ranging from Industrial Design, Product
Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Design, Domestic and
Offshore Manufacturing, Traditional Model and Pattern Making Skills,
Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Tooling, CAM/CNC, Reverse Engineering,
Conventional Injection and Blow Mold Making for prototype and limited
production and Injection Molding.
These competencies allow us to offer one-stop solutions to our
clients, and because they are under one roof allow an uninterrupted
work flow resulting in rapid solutions.
Engineering CAE systems we use for design are SDRC, ProE on SGI
Extreme XZ and High Impact workstations, also used are Autocad and
CadKey. We support Alias, for our ID associates.
October 1st we launched our RP/RT Tech Center. Utilizing DTM's SLS
process will enable "even more" rapid solutions for prototyping and
tooling.
Paramount is located in Langhorne, PA which is in "beautiful and
historic" Bucks County 15 min.. outside Philadelphia.
Mechanical Engineer... immediate position(s) available. A minimum of
five years experience as a product designer or product engineer is
required. Experience and knowledge of plastic injection molded parts
design, mechanism design, materials and other manufacturing processes
experience is a prerequisite. Position requires 3D solid modeling
proficiency in UNIX OS using either SDRC Master Series or ProE.
Working knowledge of concurrent development practices and rapid
technologies a plus. BSME a plus. Equivalent experience is welcomed.
Motivated self-starting BSME recent grads will be considered for entry
level position. Full responsibility for concepts, design, layouts,
project managing and detailing.
Compensation will be commensurate with your acquired skills and
knowledge.
Engineering Manager... We seek an experienced manager with a minimum
BSME with hands-on knowledge of 3D modeling/design. Proven people
skills to lead a successful Design and Engineering team. Paramount is
positioned for growth. Our D&E group must lead the way with client
market driven design-for-manufacturing solutions. Our client's
success is directly proportionate to our success on their projects.
