RE: Painting prototypes

By using water-based acrylic paints I am able to avoid a lot of
environmental restrictions that I would face using paint with VOC's.
The paint I use is sold in craft stores in 2 oz. bottles. Its
intended use is for painting tee shirts.

I apply the paint with a Badger air brush, but since the paint is
quite thick, I thin it out with about 3 parts water to 1 part paint.
With paint this thin, it can take 10 or more applications to get a
good color cover. It is a very time consuming process for sure!
