Thanks for your input.
I haven't noticed that the fluorescent lamps of the PCA-250 generate
much heat. The parts come out of post-cure cool to the touch and
there is no residual heat in the PCA after a typical 30 cure cycle.
Nor have I seen anything to suggest that the cure reaction is
exothermic. If it were, I would suspect there would be residual heat
detected upon end of the cycle.
As to toxicity, I have always assumed that the resins were relatively
safe. If there are toxic fumes released upon curing, wouldn't there
also be need to similarly vent the SLA chamber?

I would imagine it's because the UV lights generate substantial
heat. In addition, I'm not sure if the curing reaction may be exothermic
(i.e., heat generating) which would cause additional heat that needs to
be expelled to keep the oven from overheating.
I wonder if it's important to aim the vent away from public spaces
for toxicity reasons. Are there any instructions like that with the oven?
