AutoCAD has had the ability to export STL files since, I think, Release 11.
The command used to be SOLSTLOUT in the older versions. Now I believe you can export STL files from the EXPORT command under the FILE menu.
I have used STL files from AutoCAD before, but not with great success. The problems have been with the facet sizes (which can be controlled to some extent by changing the density of the solid) and with surfaces created from arcs.
