Hello Everybody,
I wish to use FDM prototypes as patterns for sand casting.
1. Has anybody used RP models ( particularly FDM prototypes in ABS ) as
patterns for sand castings ?
2. What is the approx. no. of times the pattern can be used?
3. Was the pattern surface coated/sprayed with metal or epoxy resins or
paints to enhance life of the patterns ?

to the above questions.
