Dear Jim,
If you're going to be making a lot of small concept models, another
company you may wish to look at is BPM Technologies, Inc. We just got their
Personal Modeler on monday. Their parts have very good dimensional accuracy
and nice smooth surfaces. Support generation is totally automatic, and
clean-up time is nominal. You have to calibrate the nozzle between builds,
but this only takes five minutes. The parts are fragile, but for concept
modeling this should be OK. It took it 6 hours to build a simple
one-and-a-half-inch part, 35 hours to build a four-inch part. The Personal
Modeler isn't a desk-top machine, but it's got a very small footprint, and is
very office friendly.

Cheers,
Bjorn
