Rapid Prototyping Technician
Primarily responsible for production in the RP Systems work center: part orientation, build packet layout, preparation, and operation of SLA and SLS machines. Additional responsibility in data manipulation/conversion, process control, machine maintenance, SLA and/or SLS process specialization, and interaction with the Finishing work center. Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of SLA and/or SLS processes, strong computer skills, good 3D visualization capability (CAD or drafting experience), and possess strong initiative to complete work with minimal supervision.
Laboratory Technician
Primarily responsible for post-processing completed SLA and SLS builds: machine break-out and turn around, part cleaning, and part inspection. Additional responsibility in laboratory safety, cleanliness, and process improvement. On the job training in RP machine operation and maintenance. Ideal candidate will have experience in high-throughput laboratory process, superior hand skills, have a knack for detail, be scrupulously clean in work habits, and have a willingness and capacity to learn. Previous experience with RP processes a plus, but not a must.
