I have cast steel and aluminum castings by way of the investment casting
process using patterns from 3D Quick Cast, and Stratasys FDM. The 3D
patterns were used for aerospace applications, and are flying as we speak,
the FDM patterns were used to as a foundry experiment to compare the two
different type of RP.
