We do have such a software based on inventor. But we can't sell it
(research institute). But it is possible to convert VRML to inventor and
then to stl. These tools are available for SGI-machines. I think a
commercial software, based on inventor, should exist, too. I'll keep on
searching till there is a solution, because this is quite interesting.
