presents

INNOVATIONS IN TECHNOLOGY
Rapid Prototyping Technology

Rapid prototyping, an emerging technology that is revolutionizing product
development, converts any three-dimensional design concept directly into a
real-world three-dimensional object. The savings in cost are of an order of
magnitude, and product development cycles are reduced from months to days or
even hours. Package and industrial designers and others in the automotive,
aerospace, medical devices, marine, consumer products, sports equipment and
virtually any industry that produces tangible items can adopt it.

Rapid prototyping industry revenues doubled from 1996 to 1997 to $600
million and are projected to reach $1 billion by 2000.
Panelists:

John Duffy, Equity Analyst, Fahnestock & Company, Inc., a middle market
broker dealer. Has covered rapid prototyping since 1995. One of the first
financial analysts to recognize the potential. Instrumental in raising
equity capital for two rapid prototyping companies.

Anthony Finizeo, Chief Executive Officer, Sanders Prototype, Inc., one of
the leading rapid prototyping companies – No. 3 in unit sales in 1996, just
two years after shipping its first product.

John Cobb, Vice President Marketing, Stratasys, Inc., the company with the
largest unit sales in the industry.

Mats Jansson, Chief Executive Officer, Formus, one of the largest start-ups
in the industry. Focused on fabrication of large-sized prototypes, such as
boat hulls, an otherwise expensive, labor-intensive process.

Moderator: David McConoughey, Esq., a patent attorney specializing in
intellectual property development for emerging technology companies.
