We're still trying to decide on a new resin for our 500's and now it
looks like Allied-Signal's (now Ciba) Exactomer HTG35X may be another
candidate. Any advice, experiences, stories about this?

The green strength could be higher. After post curing the material is very hard
and brittle, but it is very stabil in view on temperature. Cleaning is much
easier than with the other Exactomers.

In my opinion it has got good properties for some tooling application. Direct
use as models for assembly could be critical if mechanical strain is necessary.
So, it depends on the application.

Is different
cleaning and curing hardware required than the traditional epoxies? Is
it viable for QC patterns? Thanks,
