At GM, Ford, and others, they are using DIGIBOT II systems to accurately
and scan impressions of intake ports. GM used this method for designing
the intake ports on the '97 350 Corvette engine. The engine has a 50hp
increase over the old engine.

Dear list,

Does anyone have experience with scanning inlet ports of a engine
cylinderhead to get good CAD surface datas?

Thank you very much in advance.
