as far as i understand the zippy systems.....instead of using the plotter
mechanism..these chinese engineers are using ball-bearings as the x-y
movement.
with regards whether will they be sue in Singapore....guess not....cos US
does not extend their patent in Singapore.....but if in States or EU
....could be....so the truth has to be determined whether have they sold
any units in EU.
with regards to the paper models...they do look different from Helisys'
models......except that a special type of glue...they had concocted is in
use.
maybe i have only seen their prototype model....it is still very difficult
to remove the excess supports at that time.
again, LOM type of systems are really good for big parts....but NOT BIG
SPACES!!!
