I'll jump in here. I'm a grad student in the Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM area
at Tyler School of Art. All of my work and that of my fellow graduate
students as
well as many of the undergrads focuses solely on the creation of jewelry
and related objects using CAD. I know that you are all familiar with my
professor, Stanley Lechtzin. We want to use RP in all of our creative
work while in school and when we graduate and set up our own studios. We
are interested in working with non-traditional jewelry material. We also
look forward to the availability of RP metals, precious and non-precious.
The uses of RP are limited to any creative person only by cost and
availability. Certainly not by ideas and application.
Michael is not your only renegade artist on this list.
