John, the object can be scanned and the iges data can be directly
imported into a CNC package or directed into a modeling package. If you
remember the primer for tooling that I presented at in Anaheim
contained all the pertinent information on how to accomplish this. If
you have anymore questions, please don't hesitate to contact me
