Materialise will host free pre-conference tutorial sessions for those of
you arriving early at the next Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing Conference
(May 19 - 21 1998, Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Michigan).
The sessions will have an emphasis on Rapid Tooling although other
functionality will be shown as well (see our website
http://www.materialise.com - MAGICS RP). The new Rapid Tooling module
automatically calculates the parting line of a complex design. Undercuts
are automatically detected and isolated in separate entities as cores,
inserts and slides. Combined with Boolean operations, positioning and
hollowing functions of Magics RP, the rapid tooling module provides a
complete solution for Rapid Tool Design starting from STL data.
