John,

I am pretty interested by this topic, although I haven't made any real
tests yet. You see, it also depends on the length of the specimens you
can make vertically... I have an SLS machine here, but EOS (metal
sintering). I am trying to launch students projects in this field and I
hope I get results sometime. I know that people at Electrolux have been
investigating this, in order to optimize part orientation.
