Elaine:

To add to your question, when you make RP protos for sale, how do you
price them in a way that covers the cost plus charges for value of the
shortened time to the customer?

Like many companies, ours (Investment casters) is thinking about buying
equipment. Some of the protos might be used as sales samples or with
quotes. Our real desire is to get into the RP market to provide metal
cast protos and short production runs for customers. As it is now, we
have many customers would willingly pay for quick turn-aorund on protos.
So how should we price to get a profit that would justify the cost of
equipment, offset costs, and charge for time saved?

Thanks.
