Job Objective: PCC is the global market leader in consumer communication
products. Join our product development team as we develop advanced high
quality wireless products for rapidly growing and highly competitive
markets. The Physical Modeling Lab team members are responsible for the
total commitment to rapid prototyping of the initial designs and ideas of
corded and cordless telephone products. As a member of the product
development team, you will work closely with marketing, industrial design,
manufacturing and electrical engineering to design products that meet
business requirements. product development. The Eatontown facility of
Philips Consumer Communications is a "full stream" integrated engineering
and prototype manufacturing center, providing in-house stereolithography
(SLA), CNC machining, and molded urethane castings to the engineering
community, to rapidly prove in product designs. We are looking for
experienced motivated self starters to join us in producing prototype forms
from drawings and data bases. Our state of the art facility has the latest
rapid prototyping equipment to assist the the product development
community.
* SLA 250/50 3D Systems Maestro Software
* Hurco 30/17 & BMC20 Mastercam Ver: 7
* MCP vacuum casting system
* RIM casting system
* Full Model Shop
Skills / Experience: AS: BS: Trade school certificate:
2-6 years in product development/prototyping /model making is preferred
Desired background in: Industrial Design
Manufacture Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
CNC Cad /Cam programming / Pro E or
equivalent
Model Making
