Actua: Kudos to 3D and Line-By-Line-Design

You may recall a few weeks ago I asked for others who were having problems
with their Actua machines. I was running a new machine on a 30-day
evaluation and was having many problems. Most notably, the upward facing
surfaces were badly pitted and rough. I received about a dozen responses,
and some phone calls, all of which were favorable. Although someone did say
that they had similar problems when the print head was worn out. To those
who responded, thank you very much.

Now that the evaluation is done, I wanted to take the time to congratulate
3D Systems for working to solve the problem. After several days and print
head replacement iterations, 3D replaced the machine with a second that is
now working flawlessly. I also want to recognize Line By Line Design's
salesman; Rob Link. Rob worked very hard with 3D systems to make sure they
stayed on top of the problem. Yes, he's a salesman so that's his job, but
he did work VERY hard to keep my business.
