Ken,
I've been doing some thinking and research lately on the long-term economic
impact of fabricators (i.e. "RP machines"). Some of the issues I've been
looking at include reduction of manufactured-goods inventories, a shift in
primary modes of wealth creation, and the role of product standards in a
distributed-production environment. Just last night I met an economist who may
collaborate with me on some of these ideas. Would there be interest in an
article on this?
