I have looked at some of these 3D laser scanners, and most of them I
have seen have delivered very ordinary results.
One I have not yet looked at, but which looks promising on paper is the
Minolta VI-700, which has an interesting sounding plug in for 3D studio
Max. I think its about $40 K.
