Rapid Tooling Article

To anyone interested:

Just came across an article on Rapid Tooling in the "Manufacturing
Engineering" magazine (published by SME, Society of Manufacturing Engineers)
dated 11/98. It gives a good summary of the latest happenings in the Rapid
Tooling arena. Terry Wohlers is also featured where he prefers to define
"Rapid Tooling" as "digitally driven tooling." (The acronym for this would
be "DDT" but this has some environmentally negative connotations). Why not
Electronically Driven Tooling, EDT, or even Rapid Electronically Driven
Tooling, REDT? (If I could put a "Y" in there it could also stand for
"Ready Yet?"). Just some ideas....
