     Hello Chang-Shik,Min,

Paramount has been using RapidSteel since Feb-97. We were DTM's beta
site for RapidSteel 2.0 (LR2). Results we have consistently
experienced in both molds and parts is +/- .005"/". Many cases we
have been within .001"/". We seen .001" over 7". Seldom do we plan
on better then .005"/" for molds or parts. Owing to these results is
the low shrink factor .2% with the LR2 process and materials.

At the moment we are producing 10 production injection molds (cavity &
core). Our confidence level is high. Our tool design team plans
(queues) tool builds for LR2 as they would for CNC or EDM.

     Hopefully this addresses your curiosity.

     Kindly,
     Jim Williams

   Hello Everyone;

I wanna be well informed about the building accuracy of DTM
RapidSteel2.0 process for direct metal mold manufacturing.
Is there anyone who happened to find its accuracy good enough
as using a injection mold in the industry.

My minimum accuracy requirement for metal mold is below =A1=BE0.125mm.
And DTM(USA) alleged they could meet the requirement, mentioning
some success examples from their user sites.

But Skeptical....I feel from my several experiences.
  I'm not sure..

IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN ADVISE advise me on this.

   Best Regards.
