Kirksite is a metal comprised of approximately 93% ZN, 4% AL, 3% CU with
traces of MG, PB and FE. It melts @ 700°F+ and is poured @ 825°F. It
can be machined, burned, textured, welded and fitted with water lines. As
you will see, it is a very good rapid tooling option. Kirksite molds can
last for thousands of parts.
