Deon, I probably can't give you much detail but we have used sla and sls extensively to make aerodynamic bumps, fairings, fillers etc for wind tunnel test on scale models. I know that many of the parts representing development of the 747 mounted airborne laser were built by my group. Additionally, I'm currently beginning work on a 4th interation of a JSF low speed inlet test whereby most of the entire forebody (and inlet) are made from an sla shell. We line the inside of the shell with fiberglass for strength and rigidity. There is also some interior metal framework to provide hardpoints where required.
