Therics produces custom pills using 3D printing technology from MIT. They
are one of five licensees. The jets deposit both binder and medicine,
making it possible to produce unique configurations that release medicine
at predetermined intervals. This is a fascinating application of the
technology, and it begins to open the mind as to what might be possible in
the future.
