     They don't understand what "rocket science" is either.
     
     They don't remember a time when you cooked food in a pot on the stove
     instead of heating a pre-packaged individual or family sized
     microwaveable plastic dish.
     
     Try to explain what PC means...They can't remember when computers took
     up an entire room, stored data on tape and didn't have a monitor to
     display the output.
     
     Shopping malls have always been around.
     
     ATM cards give you access to cash anytime.
     
     Bankers hours meant 9:00am to 5:00pm.
     
     How about carbon paper to make copies of your resume.
     
     That you should use sun block at the beach to avoid skin cancer.
     
     What "Air Mail" was.
     
     Federal Express was used sparingly.
     
     Stores weren't open on Sunday.
     
     Gym shoes were made of canvas. and were inexpensive.
     
     Plastic was synonymous with cheap.
     
     What a foreign car was and that there use to be three big US
     Automakers.
     
     You heard Swing music only on the Lawrence Welk Show.
     
     What a TV test pattern was.
     
     Wow, I feel old.

Food for thought about today's college generation and what this means to
product development.
