Unfortunately, we don't get that much sunshine in the U.K. and besides,
it would probably fill up with rainwater.
Seriously though, I believe that the general term of 'Rapid
Prototyping' includes 'Rapid Tooling' by default. Therefore the scope
of empty resin containers for RP must include those for the tooling
resins that are used in the manufacture of Vac Castings, RIM cast parts
& Cast resin tools. These are unlikely to be cured without the
catalyst.

My experience indicates that it is not necessary to cut the entire top
off of
the can. Simply cut the plastic pour spout off and set the can out in
the sun
for a couple of days. Enough light enters through the hole in the top
of the
can to thoroughly polymerize the remaining resin in the can.
