OK, I fired up Sherlock and searched for the Photoshop 2d to 3d filter:
It's called Cybermesh.
It's located at; http://www.webcom.com/puffin/products/cybermesh.html
It turns 2d greyscale images into 3d DXF, FACT, 3DS or Alias OBJ files.
A free demo CD is available, or download the demo if you prefer. Win NT,
95, 95 and Mac are supported.
