Our firewalls don't allow access to news groups.
I would really miss this mailing list.
Any other options?
Like changing the address and everybody re-subscribing (pain for everybody,
shared by everybody, but if it's one time only it's bearable).

Personally I would vote for a newsgroup -- much easier to manage and
keep up with. I would though vote against it being secure. Not all of
us can access secure groups through our ISP's. SPAM is much easier to
deal with in a newsgroup, you don't have to bother with it--just ignore
it.
Does everyone have access to newsgroups?
