Dear list members,
I was asked to contribute a chapter to the Gordon and Breach international
series in engineering, technology and applied science (8 subseries for a
total of 48 volumes, so I was told; some were already published). The
title of the requested chapter is a bit cumbersome (I will try to change
it), but essentially it is about software and computer techniques in RP.
As having remotely accompanying this field from '87, I have a reasonable
basis. But surely I will miss pieces of software, algorithms, etc., used
in RP, no matter how much I search. To reduce the future damage I
therefore ask for any pointers to RP-related software. I will especially
appreciate references given by the creators of the software (e.g.,
RP vendors, software companies). Any help will of course be acknowledged
(unless I am asked otherwise).
