DSM Somos® is pleased to announce the immediate availability of style files
for 3D System's Lightyear program. These style files contain all the build
parameter values that we recommend for use with Somos 7100 and 8100 family
resins. Go to our web page at http://www.dsmsomos.com and follow the link (at
the bottom of the page) to the Lightyear style files.
There are separate files in self-extracting archive format for each type of
stereolithography machine: SLA 250, SLA 500, SLA 3500, and SLA 5000. Currently
the style files are only for builds in inch dimensions. We are working on the
metric versions and will make these available when they are finished.
Please note also that these files are only for users with the ADVANCED version
of Lightyear. If you need style files for Lightyear basic version please call us
at 302-328-5435 and ask for assistance.
